Works in progress

First off, I wanted to share some news! A Taipei University has accepted me as a student which means I will be moving to Taiwan within several months! Now all that's left is me stressing out over how to finance it all! ~

On another subject, I've been working on custom Pullip twins using a Mocha and Fair skin MIO kit :3 ~ I like progress photos some how! Mind you, I haven't finished painting these two yet!

I've tentatively named them Cream & Mocha x3

  4. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!What you will be studying? I'm sure you will find a way to finance it, there's always a way~ espexially for new adventures!

I've thought of buying a MIO kit myself to have a custom pullip and the tan ones are so lovely! But I can't buy all the dolls types I like because I would be so poor and overcrowded hahaha.

Your customs are looking lovely as always~ Did you use pastel or airbrush to blush the tan one? I'm kind of scared that blushing a tan doll with pastels won't be easy and I will need to learn to use the airbrush for that x.x

    1. Thankies ~ :D :D I will be studying English and minoring in Japanese if all goes well! I do hope it all works out :3 I just have to control my taobao spending. Hahaha :D

You should totally buy one! Pullips are adorable ~ They're not so pricey either!
Thanks for your compliments, I don't own an air brush and probably never will haha. I use pastels for all my blushing etc. I think it works fine on either skin tone :O
I think with tan the only thing to worry about is the skin turning a bit lighter due to the MSC!

Haha, I think pastels are very versatile along with acrylic paints :O I never found the need for an air brush~

  6. Congratulations on your acceptance Irene. A new country, means new a adventure and friends. I'm sure the finances will work themselves out eventually. :)

Love what you're doing with the Pullips, they are looking pretty. It's also good to learn you only use pastels, I do too. I do have an airbrush, but haven't used it for a very long time and never on dolls.

    Good luck, and safe travels.
    Hugs,

    1. Thank you so much! I sure hope they will, at least I will try my hardest to obtain one or multiple jobs :D

Oh yeah, pastels are much easier to maintain I think ~ as opposed to an airbrush which needs lots of cleaning :O
Thanks sooo much for your wishes!

Perhaps it's possible to teach English (maybe even to fellow students) in Taiwan in the evenings?
