Hoffmann's Toy Box - Taipei 17/02/12

As mentioned I had to attend Hoffmann's Toy Box in Taipei last weekend!
Image belongs to Hoffmann TB!
It seemed to be a lot more crowded than other doll parties, perhaps because many famous companies joined this time around?
Get ready for a picture heavy post!

First off, I directly went to the Soom queue, yep there was a crowd.

It was cool to see their new cute bunny as well as boy Neph and other cuties :3 They even brought out Zak later ~ However it seems they were only representatives of the company, I wish they had brought a sculptor/artist ;_;

Next up was Anna Queen, she's so nice and I once again recommend checking her Flickr and her sculpts!

There were many other cool exhibitors as well, companies such as Migidoll and Cocoriang were amazing as well as all the other sales stands x3

I believe this cutie is Swandoll's ~
This company had the cutest idea XD
Rrabbit always has a shoe + clothing heaven xD
It was nice to finally see some Taeyang & Isul representation! LOL
Yes that text says what you think it says xD
Lots of cute Blythes with epic dioramas!

Finally, my loot XD;; Not much as usual :3 just some things for upcoming Pullip customs as well as clothes for my AQ Bau ~

My favorite exhibitors:
Cocoriang - their set-up was just the cutest, and the staff was incredibly friendly!
TTYA - their staff was super helpful and their clothes seem to be of very high quality!

Thanks every one and I hope you enjoyed the photos! :3

  1. And lead us not into temptation... 😉 So many dolls and clothes and more! Thanks for sharing pics from the event. If I could be there I would spend a fortune on clothes and accessories for my boy. I think Anna's dolls are the prettiest and they really stand out. And that white-haired guy in red looks cool too.

    1. Oh yeah! It was super tempting ;_; Hope you can really attend one day!
      That white-haired guy was one of my favorites too, though I'm not sure about the sculpt. If I had to guess I would guess he's from LoongSoul or another Chinese company! :O

  2. Oooh! I love all the pics as always but! Something caught my attention; is that a Soom Teenie Gem Coyote Elves with the surprise version head in tawny skin at their booth!? The one laying on white fur with a cute girl doll (whose sculpt I don't recognize.. ^^; )? *3* Were they selling the dolls at Soom's booth or were they just for show?

    As the name of the event was "Toy Box", were there other toys on show as well? :)

    1. I'm unfamiliar with the teenie gem sculpts, sorry! However they seemed to be selling parts only, I don't think the display dolls were on sale, but perhaps they had a pre-order going on for those. They had lots and lots of head parts in all colors though, so perhaps those were among them?

      There were mostly dolls, such as DDs and BJDs, there was a girl who had made her own felted(?) dollies with little mushroom houses, you can see it among the many photos xD;;

And I have to say I did grin a lot seeing that diorama. It's so adorable. I want to make a little display like that one day myself. I seem to like tiny things!

It's always interesting to see new dolls and items, it is special to see the booths, as I'll propably never have a chance to go myself. ^^; All clothes seemed so beautiful and detailed. I'm already following Anna Queen in Flickr, thanks to you! She is totally amazing.

  6. So much awesomeness!!! I enjoy these posts so much, I get to see many dolls all at once. Anna's dolls are so gorgeous, kinda makes me wanna go back to SDs, but then I think it through again and reject the idea lol.

    Too bad SOOM didn't bring sclulptors, that would been neat.

    1. Perhaps she will make MSD dolls one day? Ahaha~ Glad you enjoyed anyway, I feel these doll parties can give us lots of inspiration!
      Yeah, I was sad, I miss that personal touch most companies bring along, such as Cocoriang and PW and Migidoll, they're really friendly and excited when someone loves their dolls!

    I love the little shoes and those rabbit dolls are so sweet! Do these types of events happen a lot in Taiwan? Also I mailed you something for Christmas but I'm not sure if it arrived? I hope so! How have you been lately?
