Doll Review: Kukuclara

Introducing Kukuclara by Yvely

Yvely has created two dolls, Clara and Kuku ~ there's also a new dolly coming up. I only have a 2019 Cozy Little Clara at the moment, she is ivory skin. She has so far released tan, peach/pink and ivory skin dolls.

Kukuclara dolls are all hand-painted ~ and entirely made of vinyl.
 She as a more curvy figure but can still fit similar clothes to other small dolls ~

 Her limbs are bendable because they are made of vinyl. It does give the plastic a bit of a warped look.

 She has the standard number of joints~ and rooted hair.
 She can sit but as is the case for many other dolls, her legs spread quite a bit xD;

I find her face-up quite charming ^^ ~  but am not sure what to make of her expression.

  1. I really like her face. It kind of reminds me of some of those vinyl Bluefairy faces. It's the face style I think. I do love her expression also. Love that she has a more curvy body.

  2. She's very nice but not a doll I would get haha, never said never though, the new girl she's making looks VERY different and very nice too
    I think my problem with this doll is the face shape more than anything else, she has a lovely body and nice lips eyes combo

    1. I see what you mean~ haha :3 The new girl is also not my cup of tea, and I'm still undecided on whether Kukuclara really is ^^; ~

  3. Her face reminds me of Fleur dolls from 80s. And her articulated body works like that of Phicen, right?
    She're really interesting and lovely but I admit I prefer taller dolls. :)

    1. I had to look up those dolls :O phicen is seamless? I'm not sure if it's the same material but perhaps it works by the same principles~

  4. She is a very pretty doll and reminds me of the dolls that I could see in the stores when I was a kid. especially the face and body type. Far away from being the same, because those dolls you could not bend in anyway. I would not mind to have a Kukuclara doll in my collection, such a sweet doll.
